Clinic
🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Curaleaf®
Hi,

I’ve been with Curaleaf now for 6 months and to be honest I am really not enjoying being a patient with them. 3 times my orders are constantly being delayed. Then my scripts started on different dates which they did for 90% of my prescriptions but they left one because they forgot I had another prescription. I find their prescribing messy compared to other clinics, as they don’t show allowances and what you’ve ordered for example Medicann app has really good app user interface.

So I’m on for my mental health and I’ve tried changing clinics but been declined by Mamedica® and medicann. Mamedi an advisor said it is because of schizophrenia, which has never been on my care report or in my family. But that was the rejection and it seemed like he didn’t believe that actually wa sunder another clinic besides giving them my prescription letter.

I really would like to change clinic but it’s proving difficult.

Any recommendations anyone? I’m sick of the service I’m getting from Curaleaf considering I’m paying £350+ each month in prescription costs

Thanks in advance 🫶🏼

Dr Dave at Cardiff cannabis clinic is the best consultant, I had him previously at Mamedica® but none of the others have been anywhere near as knowledgeable, he’s having a strain named after him apparently he is an absolute legend & a fantastic lovely consultant.

I’ve just done the referral form, do you get a call to progress your application
Hopefully they'll be in touch soon as they usually are and then they will review your application and then advise you to the next steps and as a clinic and a team they are great at helping patients ,the downside being the joining fee of £250 but as a patient who transferred there from another clinic 18 months ago I'd absolutely say it's worth the extra cost of joining the clinic as the saving on meds costs compared to Curaleaf I'd imagine will be significant.

£225 with HERB25 or SMACK25!

Jammy gits get a discount 😂

Thank you guys for all your help, I will keep you posted with the progress of my application.

I’m just really naffed at Curaleaf. For example last week I put a prescription in for Super Boof by Huala then was going to pay 2 days later when it got approved. I then was told by a customer service rep just by complete random because I called regarding another call. I was on the app and it said along lines if you have a prescription you do not need to change it but if you don’t have an approved script and it’s processing then you order won’t go through. I raised this with them while on the phone to be told it’s misleading for customers as this shouldn’t be on. I have now had to change my script to a £7/g. Gaschata by Four20 which I’ve had there pineapple fruz before and that was really nice! So yeh I was kinda pissed that had spend an extra £2/g more.

Late deliveries constantly with not their own brand as well. Their own brand is pants!

They’ve been in touch and got an appointment with the doctor just waiting for them to send me the date to make payment.

How are they in terms of ordering, strains available etc… do they have an app to order from like cura?

Yes mate they do have an app but you need to do a bit more homework than most patients as it's not linked directly to stock.

There's been a few patients, including myself talking about the joining process and how the experience was over on the clinic thread.

I’ve seen someone post how they use MedBud to choose and then screenshot it send it over which to be honest seems simple enough to do.

How is the app? Is it easy to use? I’m on page 3 now of the comments lol I’m reading each one as I go getting all my knowledge lol.

Thanks for the support guys!

Some people do that, some people just send an email.

The portal is really easy to use, you request meds > select pharmacy > select meds > select quantity > submit. then you get emailed when the script is being sent to the pharmacy with tracking so you can follow it and contact the pharmacy when it arrives if you like. Then its the pharmacies hands for turnaround times, etc. but you'll see most people use IPS, Specials and Botanical as their main pharmacies.
