I've been keeping a pain diary a while to try and work out what the hell is causing my various body pains, and I actually saw an article about hypermobility the other day and I think it might be my jackpot (well, you know, jackpot in getting to an answer - regular pain and exhaustion doesn't feel like winning anything)
I haven't raised with the GP before because everything could almost be explained as a separate one-off thing and usually gets completely or a lot better within 2 weeks (strains, sprains, etc), but over the last 10 years occurrences have been more regular, with pain lasting longer and being more intense, particularly around shoulders and knees, and lower back too. And the fatigue, oh the accompanying fatigue.
I've got a couple of months diary notes now, and a list of other instances / body areas / symptoms to help me manage the NHS repeated interrogation process. Canna oil in particular, and the pain killer strains help a lot, so does ibuprofen gel to a degree
If anyone is suffering from hypermobility spectrum disorder, or thinks they might be, I'd love to hear from you!
