Found itI had a hand crafted Chillum pipe purchased from India on Etsy a couple years back for about £20-30, it'll be around in the house somewhere, I really need to give it a go!
There are plenty of hash pipes / bubbler adaptors for vaping this kind of hash for not too much money.
I can recommend the 'Moroccan Hash Water Pipe Bowl' from RVS, it works extremely well and is by far the best way of consuming the Afghan that I have found. It does take a little bit of practice to get the temperature / technique right, but when you do it certainly does the job (and then some).
Other types are available
EDIT: Due to the design this works really well with other types of 'dirty' hash as well i.e. grinder kief

Trying to get the holes properly clean I used a torch and managed to put a big crack in the damn thing.
The hash would always stick to the bowl too.
I really like hash but it’s causing me a lot of anxiety as to how to consume it properly. I hate waste and can’t really afford these meds at these prices.

The T40 Afghan does not melt, it turns to dry no odour dust at high temps so little mess or waste. I vape it succesfully in an old Rogue SE and capsule, a wee bit of hemp fibre, no mess, full extraction at 221C max. A dynavap the cheapest works fine, or the "copies" available online, Tempest 2, WOHW and easiest of all Ariser Solo 3 with a ball filled xl stem, hemp fibre or flower sandwich. A Terpcicle is made for it, cheap and very efficient.
Experiment!
Warming the bowl before extraction will reduce the amount of oil that gathers just inside the holes, I find that leaving the bowl in a small bag of ISO for a few hours will clean it nicely. I also found the debowling tool that came with my WOHW is the perfect diameter to poke through the holes if they need a bit of extra cleaning - imagine a paper clip would work just as well.
Definitely needs a certain technique, but when you get it these things hit hard.

Another option in those bigger glass vapes like the Terpcicle or Tasty Tube is to use glass beads in the bowl and put the hash on top of that.
But if you want to be economical you'll get the best results from the small bowl of the Vaponic.
I started using glass beads in a Ruby Twist at the weekend at around 280. Everything goes in a couple of extractions just leaving a dry powder on the balls.

Absolutely wonderful stuff for my aches and pains too, muscle / tendons in particular, hate to be in a place where we are eking this stuff out / going without rather than just being able to use what we need
