The clinic provides mental health assessments for people interested in a trial of a Cannabis-Based Medicinal Product (CBMP).

Cannabis Clinic Cardiff (CCC) is a patient-centred, clinician-led Private Medical Clinic.

Patients can self-refer to the clinic for a FREE eligibility assessment. An initial appointment with a Specialist Consultant will follow, assessing symptoms and medical history to determine your suitability for having a trial of a CBMP.

There is no guarantee that an initial appointment will result in a prescription of a CBMP and any prescribed product will be determined as appropriate following discussion with the prescriber.

At present, CBMPs can only be prescribed for a limited range of conditions and for patients who meet minimum eligibility criteria.

Been having some pleasant exchanges in emails with Cannabis Clinic Cardiff, I’ve already onboarded apart from paying up but I’ve got a plan in place and they’re aware all good with it, I’ve been asked two times since however to book a consultation in.

I’m not actually bothered by this though, if anything I find it even more reassuring that I haven’t been forgotten about! Plus it’s always quite amusing receiving the ‘Oh yeah we forgot about that, we will see you when you’re ready’ email, it’s the little things in life.

Unlike at Integro though, where I’ve seemingly been forgotten about for well over a month now after filling out my application.. *throws some shade*

I've been on boarded and paid! Just waiting for my first appointment, which thankfully is only a 3 day wait till Thursday! I'm excited to meet with Dr Dave and use his extensive knowledge to really come up with the right treatment for me. I've also provided a PIP letter, hopefully that means I get on the Grow Access Project scheme for applicable meds?

Just had my appointment. Wow is all I can say. Dr Dave was fantastic and so knowledgeable, he really listened to me and went into the depth I'd always expected from appointments. 100% worth the money. I'm really looking forward to this new part of my journey!

What people experience with THC Limits? I currently have a 70g limit, are they quite easy in regards to this mostly my main worry?

Should be fine generally speaking, depending on your conditions and history of course.

I am on 60g flower a month plus separate allowances for oil, extracts, and vape carts.

I know of people on up to 120g at this clinic

Hi mate.

Obviously it needs to be warranted and justified but it's within their range.

70g+ is considered a high usage patient, so there's a little more safeguarding in the fact you'll always need regular appts, etc.

For example I'm on 100g, 1-pack edibles, 1 cart and 5g extracts.

I had similar concerns upon joining because I didn't want to waste £250. Celyn was kind enough to get Dr Dave to pre-screen my application and at least confirm if he'd be comfortable with my prescribing range, which he was.

I assume you could do the same thing yourself.

Yep, just explain you want to join but you have concerns about wasting the £250 and you want to be sure they're able to accommodate your needs.

Would it be possible for the Dr to look at your application before the appt process to confirm he's happy prescribing XYZ.
