Is this clinic just for armed forces ,police ,fire and emergency services or is it available to everyone at the £50 a year cost? Had a look but still no clearer.

on my 3rd month with them as first time patient , and have seen the stock go from fairly decent to next to nothing left
Snap!
The OOS’s with CB1 Medical have become ridiculous but I’m not sure if any other places are better as I’ve only been on the medical cannabis bus for 3 months in total.
Will you be looking to change prescriber?

Last night CB1 Medical emailed to confirm the rewrite had been issued, to apologise and to make me aware of credit they have placed on my account. I used the credit to place an order immediately as I am still awaiting a payment request for pt1 of the previous order and an estimate for pt2 of the previous order. Unless someone gets a rush on today and makes the heady decision that I possibly warrant the extra cost of a Saturday delivery then it' looking like next week still. I'll update as and when anything changes and thanks for the messages of help and support.
Lets hope things move quickly from now on mate and I'm sure Specials will get their end dealt with soon as they get the prescription and the fact you have placed a new request with CB1's pharmacy then you'd hope that will be dispensed today 🤞

Yep, am always honest and fair as can be so..... CB1 order just landed now, still no RFP's from the two earlier prescriptions, but grateful for small mercies! And yes the selection is woeful, if it wasn't for the credit they gave me I would have struggled to find something that I know works for me within a sensible price point. It seems what little is on offer, is at boutique prices for quite frankly far from boutique quality. Seems like the people importing into the UK are either selling any old tat they need to shift under a name they know will sell or are totally unaware of what they are growing as a lot of the stuff is not representative of the genetics it claims. Easily done if you just assume every seed labelled X will produce identical results regardless of environment etc.

Anyhoo hopefully can get mobile again today, now I have some relief.

Couple of updates, the Sundaze® purple punch I got on Saturday is not purple punch, oh joy. Still no request for payment from specials. two estimates accepted on 29.07 and 31.07 upon receipt. Could this be the first order to go over a fortnight, watch this space lol

Just had an absolutely shocking follow up call with Dr Amit Anand from CB1 Medical.

I was a transferring patient from another clinic with an uncapped THC limit and a high-ish allowance. I’m 34 years old with 15+ years using Cannabis.

Got put on 60g every 3 weeks and a 27% THC limit. I thought let me give it a month and then will discuss these issues with the Dr on the follow-up call. Was confident this would all be sorted.

I ordered my 60g and requested a travel letter and jetted off on holiday. Everything was good so far from CB1 in terms of onboarding, dispensing, delivery and fast turnaround on the travel letter request. Was happy thinking that I’d finally may have found my new clinic. Rejected or didn’t go ahead from 3-4 clinics since I started losing patience with Medicann in the last month or so.

My re-order from CB1 is coming up in a week but before spending money on strains at/below the 27% mark - I thought a chat with the Doc would have this removed now that I’ve confirmed the usual questions that I’ve had no side effects and my symptoms are managed.

Not only was I told that the THC limit would not be removed but also that the 60g allowance is there for safety unlike other clinics who have unlimited limits. I abruptly interrupted the Doc - not in a rude way - stating that I’m a transferring patient with a previous 90g limit, only 30g more than what my limit with CB1 is.

This is where Dr Amit’s tone changed with me. He became dismissive and condescending. Telling me to try oils and pastilles. Telling me to check terp profiles and not to go with THC levels like I’m an idiot. I listed 5 strains for him that all fall out of my THC limit that were extremely effective for me from my previous clinic. Told me once he/they can see that I’ve tried strains from 22%-27% then I can kindly ask for the limit to be increased by a couple percentage here and there as I’ll now have grounds to ask. So basically spend thousands on medication that isn’t effective for me personally just to be able to have a case at court for my plea to remove the THC cap. Farcical 🤦‍♂️

Clearly Dr isn’t a patient and doesn’t know anything about MC. I’ve spoken to a LOT of Dr’s and medical staff from various MC Clinics in my MC journey so far. This tops them all as the worst.

I self discharged on the phone after only 2 weeks with them. Disgraceful.

I get they’re a Clinic-led approach more than a hands off but to treat me as a generic patient with no regard for experience, age or the fact I’m transferring. Infuriating. A shame because their CS and portal has been flawless and better than my previous clinic.

The search goes on AGAIN for a new clinic.

CB1 Medical can be strict. My first DR interview was weird. He refused me so I asked him immediately what harm a bit of weed would do to a 4B terminal cancer patient. I was still refused by him as he is only a Mental Health DR but booked me in with a pain DR at no extra charge. The pain DR accepted me and put a T limit at %33 60g 2 Aurora® carts 2.4ml T50 oil 30ml, subject to the MDP.

Christ mate, what an absolute ballache.

Clinically speaking, 70g+ is considered a high usage treatment plan. A lot of clinics are now stopping at 60g because of all the media backlash. This is the first time I've heard of CB1 using the same cap but when I spoke to Chanelle at Auravia/Zoto she informed me that a lot of clinics are now adopting this stance and it may be difficult to get more at a new clinic, especially as a new patient.

I'm not entirely sure what you can do other than keep knocking on more doors. Have you taken a look at Airmed or Integro?

Filled out forms for BNM and Integro last week. Uploaded SCR and all details.

Haven’t heard a thing from them. I like the idea of Integro. 🙏

I think they're dealing with a few Medicann patients transferring over so they may be a little busy. Don't be afraid to give them a nudge though mate.

I recently transferred from Anna Medicinals (now Emerald) to CB1 Medical. The selection at Anna/Emerald makes CB1's stock look huge 😂 I've only had one order from them where the flower was good and I'm happy with that, but they are slow getting things out. I was going to make an order tomorrow, but I'm going away on Thurs so have very little confidence they would've got it out in time.

I'm going to stick here for a bit, but would definitely be open to moving as I don't like them taking ages to send things. Seems a lot of time to take for sticking a couple of bags in a box.

Sorry to hear that, when I first joined they dropped my allowance from a 100g but only down to 90. Similarly was given a THC limit when none with Curaleaf/curaleaf. It kind of reflects on these clinics as to which ones are in it purely for the money and which ones actually care about treating people and not sending them back to the black market.

I mean I can barely walk to or around the supermarket without somebody trying to do some kind of market research or drop a questionnaire on me, yet not once in my MC journey has anyone sought to ask for my thoughts or insights. In fact quite the opposite happens and I have the uninformed thoughts and insights of somebody who has no experience living with or operating with MC telling me what I need and should/shouldn't be doing.

I have not had a call with a single doctor who has left me feeling confident that as an alleged SME they know more than me. On the contrary I have spoken to many clueless ones who think the oils and pastilles which are of nominal strength still in the UK will work for someone who has already told them they have a high tolerance/are conditioned to effects, muppets!

Anyhow, my daily update, first RFP came through literally the minute after I posted yesterday so doing same in hopes the 2nd comes through today :p Paid immediately and specials did the biz and dispatched, should be here today, day 13.

Also one thing I've noticed with CB1 Medical is some prices being above the RRP, and some flower being labelled as non-irradiated when MedBud shows it as being irradiated. So it's worth double-checking anything you order.

I was told 90g was max by cb1, which i am on, but also I get 5 vapes on top of that if i want!

From what I can tell most clinics will go above 90g if you can justify for the MDT but initially they won't go above 90g.

You've been with them a good while now haven't you, I bet you've built some clinical trust and they may be more willing to give you extras like the 5 vape carts!

You managed to find a SRD replacement yet by any chance?
