Clinics Clinics With Open Pharmacy Access

Thanks for confirming mate!

Bit annoying with the postage charge but If it opens up Botanical, Specials, etc. then there could be some savings to be had whilst being with CB1 Medical!

Heres hoping your Wife's experience is smooth and simple.
It's actually on the face of it not bad as Newgrove in the past covered any fee like Mamedica® charging a tenner and CB1's postal charge and if you use Montu you get the fiver back deal and access to the monthly care discounts so as long as the ease of use is there then this could be pretty significant.
Also if you qualify for the Grow Access Project scheme then you can send your request to Pharmacy Space for 10% off everything as I did from Cannabis Clinic Cardiff 👌

Seems like the fee is worth it then! Much better than ScaMamedica!

You'll have to let us know what she orders and how the costs are different from going through CB1. I reckon there's a lot of patients around here who don't even realise the savings they can be making.

I have been accepted at auravia medical, I asked by email for some clarity,

Please can you confirm that I am 1 out of the 500 patients to get free lifetime clinical support

Confirm I would have a 60g limit on flowers, and similar limits on vapes and oils. No THC limits.

I would be placing orders, when the funds are available, every 2 weeks or so, and would like to choose varied medications? So I would need scripts, do I just email auravia what I would like and you will get script sorted? or do I need a consultation each time I want to change medications?

I would be an Auravia patient not a Zoto patient?

UC & ESA Grow Access Project recipient

will update, think those are the most important questions?

Auravia patient will not be, sticky on THC levels/limits, need consult Up/down & in between, not happy changing changing meds monthly, so If you wanted Pharmacy Space via aruvia to access the whole of the MedBud.wiki as I formulary, sorry to disappoint but Auruvia is not the vehicle to drive to attain this

Thank you for finding this info out mate, it's a bit of an odd policy isn't it.

yeah, bit like Look at Us we can get everything, but except the prescription challenge means you cant? change THC/meds monthly, dunno seems retarded, told them why r so many strains available 1000s, in their mind need only 30 :ROFLMAO: told them get with the program of be left being as this is where this market is going

Hi Medbuddies,

I know there's been a lot of chatter about pastures new in the clinic spaces lately.

It appears as if Auravia led me on a little bit with their multi-pharmacy access as other patients are now reporting otherwise. I thought it might be a good idea to provide a list of the clinics that still have some kind of multi-pharmacy access even if its restricted a little.

Airmed - £15 fee to use external pharmacy
Integro - This may have changed in the last year or so
Wellfords - I had a terrible time with this clinic but they do have open pharmacy access
Zoto - I can't find any patient stories and they're run by the same team as Auravia so this one may not be open pharmacy in reality
CB1 Medical - Charged a fee to send your script to an external pharmacy
Borders pain clinic - insane fees to be honest
Cannabis Clinic Cardiff - the boys
London Resilience Clinic - Little to nothing about these guys around but according to MedBud it's open pharmacy
Alternaleaf - I'm not sure if they still do this, but previously AL would send your script to any pharmacy but it will take longer and you can only order what Alternaleaf/ Montu prescribe.
Dispensed - Confirmed to send your prescription to any pharmacy providing the items fall within the prescribing formulary.

There's a load of clinics without much info that may include open pharmacy access that I've not listed here, I have sent emails to a few clinics, if i hear back I shall update. you can view all the clinics available here -

Integro will only prescribe from another clinic, if it's on their p list, and it cost £10

I've recently switched to Cannabis Clinic Cardiff after reading so many positive reviews on Reddit and Trustpilot. The £250 initial consultation fee is definitely expensive, but I think the £33.33 monthly fee offers better value than Releaf's £39.99 fee, especially since it lets you use whichever pharmacy you prefer.
I'm looking forward to seeing what the clinic is like. Before making the switch, I would probably have rated Medicann, Mamedica®, and Alternaleaf as my top clinics. Medicann, in particular, is hard to beat thanks to its partnership with IPS and next-day delivery service.
That said, I'm excited to see how CCC compares.
Is anyone here familiar with the CCC patient portal? Is it easy to use? I'd love to hear about your experiences. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum @Privatenameuk and congratulations on becoming a patient at CCC as they are a great clinic ime and you do indeed have access to all meds if suitable for you.

You'll find when you select an item on the portal it is pretty much directed at the pharmacy with the lowest price and that has it in stock and even if that means your requests are split and sent to few different pharmacies this is not a problem for them as it'll mean you are getting the products you need and at the best prices but you also have a ability to over ride this and just send the request to which actual pharmacy you wish specifically as you may prefer dealing with certain pharmacies as you prefer their service.

Also you can make multiple requests during a month as long as you stay within previously agreed limits set between the clinic and yourself.

Things take longer than say Medicann as the model CCC uses as an independent clinic means you are always going to be using an outside pharmacy so usually I find I get products on average 2-5 days after requesting but in that knowledge of timelines I just tend to order well before I'm due to run out and pretty much like the clinic advises(2 weeks before you expect to run out) where as previously I was with Mamedica who used to take 3-5 days with my request anyway so it was not major change for myself timescales wise but the choice and costs of medications have made it all the more affordable with the savings on medication cost easily covering my monthly fee .

Also the difference in service coming from a high volume clinic to a patient owned family run clinic has been a revelation and greatly reduced my anxiety around the admin part of MC as CCC will always step in with common sense solutions rather than copy and paste answers that leave you confused as a lot of patients at other clinic are often left feeling after interactions with their clinics/pharmacies.

Thank you so much for the warm welcome and for taking the time to write such a detailed and reassuring reply.

That’s incredibly helpful and has definitely put my mind at ease. One of the main reasons I decided to switch to CCC was the flexibility of being an independent clinic and having access to multiple pharmacies, so it’s great to hear how well that works in practice. I really like the idea that the portal automatically recommends the best-priced pharmacy while still giving patients the option to choose if they have a preference.

It’s also reassuring to know that I can make multiple requests each month within my prescribing limits, and I’ll make sure to order in plenty of time as you’ve suggested.

I’ve heard so many positive things about the patient-centred approach at CCC, so I’m really looking forward to my first consultation and seeing how everything works. Thanks again for taking the time to explain it all 💚🍃🌱 I really appreciate it.

No worries and you're welcome and it really is a refreshing approach by them to patient care and options and I wish you the best of luck with your MC journey and I know you are in good hands and if you need any further help when you get access to the portal there are a few CCC patients here including myself who will be only to happy to help you work out anything you are stuck with.
One thing I would suggest is to have a little headroom in your allowance/monthly limits so at times of need you can add an extra 10g in when needed but you don't have to use this but gives you that little extra scope should you needs fluctuate from time to time 👌

Good luck with your appointment🙏

Welcome to MedBud @Privatenameuk

I moved over to CCC recently from Medicann (I've also previously been with CB1 Medical, Wellfords and Alternaleaf) and the service difference is unbelievable. I've gone from feeling like a legal tick box to get medical weed to feeling like I'm on BUPA for MC. The level of care far surpasses anything else in the industry so I reckon you've made an absolute bang on choice with choosing CCC.

@GrownHealth is a fountain of knowledge, the CCC thread is also wonderful for getting some quick answers from existing patients.

If there's one thing I would recommend, like GH, it would be to try and manage your existing meds so you've built a bit of a buffer and then try and order when you're about 2 weeks low. You'll see on the thread below I had a rough start to life with CCC but I wouldn't swap them for the world now.

If patient care is the biggest thing for you then I would recommend using Pharmacy Space and Botanical as preferred pharmacies. They're order in pharmacies so things take a few more days but their level of communication and patient care matches the clinic in that it is far superior to literally anything else out there.

Good luck with your appointment, Dr Dave is wonderful and I know for a fact you'll have a lovely time chatting with him.

Is Cannabis Clinic Cardiff still restricted to mental health patients?
From their website mate (y)

To be honest I don't get the vibe that they'll ever be looking to expand things to pain patients. I'm sure some of the regulars may have asked before about it though.

Ah ok , opens up more than i thought , option there for me if needed with epilepsy
Fwiw I had a shit first few weeks and I still wouldn't even consider another clinic. Even if Cannabis Clinic Cardiff went bust tomorrow I think I'd just walk away from MC because nothing can match what they're doing.
