Yes likely too hot for the IC, get the poker in the flame and stop when the flame colour on the poker end begins to change colour to orangey, note how many seconds of heat applied. If that's too hot halve the timing and then build up from there slowly. It is a technique, more by feel than by numbers, good luckI’m struggling to use with the IC that arrived like sticky hash.
I feel I’m too hot as it sticks to the wand and seems to be combusting.
I get a lot of internal residue in the bowl quite quickly after just a few uses.
I don’t think I have the right technique.
