Does anyone take Wegovy and also consume cannabis in any fashion?

Are there any interactions or side effects related to these two specific drugs?

So lets update this.

Interactions with MC, so far: None
Side effects caused by MC: None

MC is very beneficial for dealing with the nausea and vomiting side effects. They make it possible to largely ignore them. Same for the headache and bloating side effects.

So my experience so far. I had a some breathing depression, which is still there a little. This might be a me problem, rather than a general issue with Semaglutide. Beyond that I've had: Bloating, nausea, vomiting, headache, a light headed almost floaty feeling (not MC related as I didn't have any at the time of the feeling nor had for many hours before) and extreme fatigue (got up did stuff for maybe 4-5 hours and then had to go back to bed). So i'm still in the first month, so side effects are apparently the worst during that month. Side effects seem to peak for the first two days after injection. For me anyway on day three I have no real side effects. But once i hit injection day I am basically stuffed for the next two days and spend a lot of time pushing through and trying to get stuff done, but inevitably find myself laid in bed on the second day, quite a lot.

So I've had OCD for a long time and for the last few years it hasn't been an issue, but I noticed since I started Semaglutide that seems to have returned (checking locks in sets of three seems to have restarted). Hopefully it goes once my body gets used to it, but I knew there were possibilities from that side of things going into this. Also had some weird joint aches, like my left food absolutely killed when I walked on it yesterday, but today nothing. The other day, just to the left of my knee I had pain all day and the day after, nothing.

So it's a weird drug, but hopefully it lets me shift 40-50kg of weight. Mixed with all the gym time I do per week, i'm hopeful.

I lost 125Kg using weightloss drugs and a gastric sleeve op in a year. Great, I'm now approx. 70Kg with Neuropathy complications as a direct side effect. Solve 1 problem to inevitably create another...Humans

I already have neuropathy issues in my feet, partial numbness, exacerbated when i consume sugar. You know I would love to be about 80-90kg, but with 20-30kg of pure muscle.

How long did it take for you before you actually started to properly lose weight? Like was it noticeable after going up from base dose to the next level of dosing? I'm planning on doing another month at 0.25mg before pushing up to 0.5mg, as I need to give my body a lot of time to get used to it or it might react to it, which torches any possibility of losing weight. But I'm also mindful of wanting to get to the point where I no longer feel permanently hungry and can actually start truly benefitting from it.

Saxenda and Mounjaro got my initial weight down to have the Gastric Sleeve. I do not use weightloss meds post op. I noticed my weightloss post op. Purchasing clothes in a size M or L instead of XXXXXXL (Yes, that's right 6 XL). Still haven't mentally adjusted. I now have visable protruding veins on my hands/arms, never had these before...I like 'em makes me feel hard.

I can't afford Mounjaro, this isn't being done via the NHS for now as they wanted to me to jump through hoops for a 2-3 months, even though I meet the criteria. i decided to go it alone with the jabs and forego the other stuff. Maybe down the line I go jump through hoops and do their courses, I think if this happens it will be when I need to move up from 1mg (cost of an injector goes from £119 to £179 to £199), as I worked out the numbers and I can afford it to 1mg dosage, but not beyond that. My hope is 1mg will suffice for the majority of the treatment and that i don't need to up it beyond that. but should it look like I need to go higher, then I can always do the NHS course and get it that way.

I'm also averse to surgical options. I'd rather spend 40 mins on a cross trainer every day and lift heavy weights 2-3 times a week. the main thing is to push my calorie burn high enough that I decimate calories.

Saxenda was funded by NHS. Mounjaro wasn't, however was prescribed via an NHS consultant. I paid approx £250 per month for a 15mg injection pen with 4 doses for about a year. The stuff worked, but like with all Western medicines there are adverse side effects and even unknown hidden newly discovered Neuropathy side effects, as this is a relatively new Rx and we are the manufacturers Guinea pigs. 'Dumping' syndrome is just one side effect.
