Just had my 12 month review with Wellford. All went well. They were completely understanding that I didn’t give myself any wiggle room for a bad day, and possibly needing a little extra now and then and I was reluctant to speak up about it. So they agreed to up my allowance to alleviate the stress and anxiety of not being able to order a bit more if needed and not having enough for the rest of the month.
The 3 months minimum consultation on the clinic page is not accurate. With no issues, my next appointment is in 6 months. Which brings the overall price down to £300 a year after the initial year, with 2 consultations and 10x £20 repeat fees.
I asked about the 4C Labs range availability, as they still don’t appear on MedBud despite me being able to order the entire range through Newgrove for the past few months. They are unsure why they haven’t appeared on the page, as other newer products have been listed when released.
Up until the recent app release, MedBud was the only formulae Wellford patients had access to without emailing back and forth.
Thanks for this and it's good to see they adjusted your allowance in line with your request to raise it to alleviate any potential stress/anxiety in the future surrounding prescription amounts.
I'm taking it the three monthly minimum consultation is accurate for the first year but then the second year it reduces to 6 monthly consultations is your experience and if so this all helps keep costs lower.
With the availability of 4C Labs strains the availability status shown here is the availability at main distributors and often when they have run out and showing as not available here pharmacies will still hold stock of the products and sometimes a fair bit of stock that lasts so they will still show as available at your pharmacy until their own supplies have run out
Great to see they have rolled out an app and hopefully ordering becomes a bit slicker and less laborious/stressful now rather back an forth emails all the time .
Wellford is going down hill fast not replying to emails and never pick up the phone they were really good at first but last 2 to 3 months not good when you ring them and they answer it like talking to people in a call center and they have to talk to a consultant then they get back to you I recently got my prescription on 28th and I get 20g on the 28th. I am allowed 60g so I get extra 20g in the middle of the month and 20 at end of the month with no extra fees. But now they saying if you go into next month you have to pay prescription fee again so I paid for my prescription on 28th then again on the 7th they said new month new prescription so I said ok can I have my full 60g if its a new month and new prescription they said no you can only have 40g from your last prescription I'll be asking for my discharge letter before my next appointment with doctor bunny
Sorry to hear things have gone downhill for you and become complicated where it needn't be after so long with being satisfied with the service they offer ,it does look like the postal charge and monthly allowance has gone out of synch but surely the can see this and rectify it to keep a long time patient happy but with issues like you say not replying to emails etc this will just heighten the frustration

Yes can be frustrating and I expect they are very busy and never had a problem ordering from them delivery on time all the time. but when I first started they were very good when I rang up I would speak to same person she was well spoken and very good at her job. She help with my orders Now when I ring up feel like different people who are just there to pick up the phone. The reason I stayed with wellford was because of the good severes and paying ones a month for my prescription and free delivery so I didn't need to buy all at ones and could wait see if wellford put any offers on though the month and that's the reason I stayed with them but now I have to buy in bulk so I don't get charged for prescription fee again and the service is not same now. So if your with wellford only put your prescription in at the beginning of the month or you pay prescription fee again and only allowed what's left of your last prescription you payed for
I have just received an email from Wellford, saying they have updated their fee structure.
There is a 3 month minimum sign up for both.
Not sure what the “Digital Medical Card” is all about though, as I was under the assumption that there is currently no card with any legal recognition?

Extract news: When the extracts are available with Wellfords, they will not be on the Script Assist portal. You need to contact the clinic first, once its been prescribed to you once it will then appear on the portal.
Would not recommend this clinic. Went from being a 100g user to lower my usage to around 60gs and SRD vape carts. I tried a new course of medication with my doctor which I can prove and was willing to that I had a adverse reaction to, instead of being understanding Wellford cut my medication of completely after taking £50 from me just a couple days earlier for a appointment. They once really cared about patients and taking caring of them, but the treatment I received from them from November onwards was horrific, couldn't get support when I needed it, barely anything in stock and dare you ask them to order something in. I would avoid Wellord as they have defiantly changed and not for the better. They left me with 10/100gs in the whole of December and made out it was nothing, I don't think they really consider this to be medications. Has made me reconsider joining a new clinic as none can seem to prove stability patients need.

I'm sorry to see you've had such a terrible time with Wellfords, I unfortunately had a similar experience about 18 months ago and subsuquently left, never looking back. I've been with 5 clinics, Wellfords were by far the worst of the lot. It's a shame there's a few 'influencers' trying to push the fuck out of them.
Some clinics are brilliant, my clinic is superb in their approach and flexibility. They saved my MC journey a few months back. I'd really recommend giving some others a shot.
What do you need a clinic to do for you that Wellfords couldn't? - it may help with some recs and avoids for future clinics.

Hey, first of thanks for the reply and sorry to see you were stuck in the same boat as me.
As my time as a patient at Wellford, I was repeatedly left without medication (over christmas peroid they only dispensed 10/100gs.) They started of by being a clinic that would allow you to email them a list of products you wanted, they'd order them in and pay for them at Newgrove, no problem and a decent service. Then they swapped to Script Assist to take all the pressure of processing orders, which I get, but their selection was horrific. If I asked for something to be ordered in, they would just try shove what products they had down my throat instead. However I bet if Newgrove (their partner pharmacy) recieved an order from an outside clinic for something they didn't have, they would have no problem ordering it in like they used to for Wellford patients.
Then I had my medical cannabis seized by police, which they refused to do absolutely nothing about leaving it on my record (same as newgrove pharmacy.) I had no support at time during that peroid, they only thing they wanted to do was sell me more cannabis.
The period they left me without cannabis for in Christmas I was already dealing with PTSD, so my doctor suggested a short course of diazpam which to help with being left without medication from Wellford but still had problems from being left with 10/100gs of high THC which I use for mental and physical health. When Wellford got wind of this, they terminated me immediately citing I had benzo issues, even though it was initially and agreed upon by a doctor. What's funny is that earlier the previous year, their clinician Dr Daniela Tonucci suggested I should use benzos every now and again to help with myofacial pain syndrome which I have, going as far as to suggest dosages if I was to obtain it from the street as at that time, I hadn't found a doctor that understood my condition well.
My doctor has been more than happy to communicate with Wellford to tell them I was left without medication, so my GP was trying to pick up the pieces and Wellfords response was to terminate my access to medical and not allow me back.
I had previously been with Mamedica®, where I would put a order in for 100gs of Sourdough and pay the full amount, and then be left waiting 3 weeks to even get an update on it let alone a delivery. I'd like consistency and reliability mostly, I use around 100gs mostly a month, so if I put that order in all at once and it gets delayed, I don't have the chance to pickup stuff locally to hold me over. I would like to get back on medical, but I've seen a lot of greed and little respect for patients actual health. The only thing I do like is obtaining new strains, as I get strain lock quite easy even with high THC strains so when the new 4C Labs lab products drop, it would be good to get easy access to them.
I'm not to worried on price, I was paying £20 monthly for repeats ontop of £50 consults from Wellford which I didn't mind at the time as I felt they valued me as a patient. Just looking for a clinic that's looking to take someone on with some complex health issues that won't let them down when it comes to delivery, as if that isn't a issue my health stays fine and can be patient when needed. I use around 100gs of 31% a month, or sometimes around 60 combined with SRD vape pens.

Christ mate, that's 10-fold what I was dealing with.
I left before script assist because they tried to force me to use only therismos products, they're useless cock wombles if I do say so myself.
to be honest I've not heard much better about Mamedica either.
You don't need to disclose anything on here but if you're mental health patient go to Cannabis Clinic Cardiff. Proper doctor appt, flexible on everything and access to all pharmacies.
I like you, use about 100g, it was hard not to go over £600. Now I spent £450 thanks to discounts I get at all the pharmacies.
If you don't qualify there or some fancy parting with the cash check out Airmed and Auravia. Both new but earning some love for their patient care.
There is also Medicann. You only pay meds and postage, the scripts are approved quickly and delivery is next day if paid before 2. I've recently left them and quite frankly I think they're useless but a lot of people do love them.
Thanks for the recommendations man! Yeah script assist pretty much destroyed a already falling apart service.
I was considering Cannabis Clinic Cardiff, even albiet the higher prices. I have been recommended Alterneaf due to their monthly subscription pricing being so low, however I'm not sure whether they'd be able to prescribe the amount to match my needs (which do fluctuate, but never above 100gs) As well as if they prescribe SRD carts, however with patient choice, I could get that part diverted to IPS.
I deal with Depression, PTSD, FND, Myofacial pain syndrome, amongst a couple other smaller things. The problem is where I've been out of medical cannabis for around 4-6 months now, I've often reached for street drugs and had some OD's to help deal with pain and MH issues as street cannabis - even with concentrates, hasn't been strong enough alone.
It would be good to get back on medical, but I was told you have to be 6 months without a overdose on your SCR, not sure if that's true or a doctor would be understanding given I can prove I was shorted by 90gs in December, which led to me falling back to street drugs to manage my health but would rather get back on medical if possible

Cardiff will change your life, they're the only clinic that have made it feel like private healthcare.
You definitely qualify for them as well, honestly I wouldn't even have a 2nd recommendation that doesn't come without issues.
I had a rocky start to life with them which seemed to be small series of issues with pharmacies, etc. If you check out the cardiff thread, you'll see only happy faces.
The clinic provides mental health assessments for people interested in a trial of a Cannabis-Based Medicinal Product (CBMP).
Cannabis Clinic Cardiff (CCC) is a patient-centred, clinician-led Private Medical Clinic.
Patients can self-refer to the clinic for a FREE eligibility assessment. An initial appointment with a Specialist Consultant will follow, assessing symptoms and medical history to determine your suitability for having a trial of a CBMP.
There is no guarantee that an initial appointment will result in a prescription of a CBMP and any...
Its worth saying, Aurora® have stated the SRD carts will be OOS until November at the earliest, so you won't be able to get those anywhere at the moment unfortunately. I find the Hash Rosin carts to work just as well if not better.
I don't think the overdose thing will matter with CCC. They still have patients who are active users with other substances and all sorts of people with challenging life hurdles. They're a proper MH clinic that understand the difficulties of MH.
I'm certain if you reach out to Celyn and the team, get an appt with Dr Dave, it'll save your medical journey, you'll feel heard, validated and get the treatment you need with them. Have a read of the linked thread above mate.

I sent out a BCC email to clinics last night, briefly explaining my situation as I did above. This morning, airmedclinic emailed, but wasn't feeling the love with the response unfortunately This is the response I fear I'm going to get from most clinics, as they often don't have time/care to hear a backstory to what's led blackmarket use and subsuent OD's, when it's Wellford who left me without 90% of medication for multiple periods forcing me back to street drugs. I'm considering reporting Dr Daniela Tonucci to the GMC for the way she messed up my care on numerous occasions, and I'm pretty sure your not supposed to advise patients to seek benzos and tramadol from the black market and advise them on dosages when you know they are struggling to get them from the doctor for relief. Thankfully I'm now on a stable 200mg tramadol script, but I think given the things that happened at that clinic, it's pure stupidity that they discharged me based on a reaction to a agreed short course of medication, all because wellford left me without cannabis during the most stressful month of my life.
Shame about the SRD pens, but I wouldn't mind trying the 4C Labs or other rosin pens, I just really like the SRD's for the price. Right now I just want to get foot back in the door after what seemingly doesn't really feel like my fault, I know once I'm back stable with a clinic, it's far easier to transfer.
In regards to Cardiff Cannabis Clinic, I know I said I don't mind parting with cash but it's the £250 inital consult that's got me hung up, I could deal with the monthly fees just fine. Hopefully I find someone soon as I do miss the consistancy of some strains, it's just finding a clinic/dr to listen to why the last 6 months has gone pair shaped after having my medical cannabis was seized by police and then unsafely ripped of my meds due to a misunderstanding from my clinic who had no empathy and interest in sorting the situation.
