I think a lot, of not most clinics will have a similar reaction to be honest, they all see the word and have a blanket fear policy. Thanks again for the suggestions
I sent out a BCC email to clinics last night, briefly explaining my situation as I did above. This morning, airmedclinic emailed, but wasn't feeling the love with the response unfortunatelyThis is the response I fear I'm going to get from most clinics, as they often don't have time/care to hear a backstory to what's led blackmarket use and subsuent OD's, when it's Wellford who left me without 90% of medication for multiple periods forcing me back to street drugs. I'm considering reporting Dr Daniela Tonucci to the GMC for the way she messed up my care on numerous occasions, and I'm pretty sure your not supposed to advise patients to seek benzos and tramadol from the black market and advise them on dosages when you know they are struggling to get them from the doctor for relief. Thankfully I'm now on a stable 200mg tramadol script, but I think given the things that happened at that clinic, it's pure stupidity that they discharged me based on a reaction to a agreed short course of medication, all because wellford left me without cannabis during the most stressful month of my life.
Shame about the SRD pens, but I wouldn't mind trying the 4C Labs or other rosin pens, I just really like the SRD's for the price. Right now I just want to get foot back in the door after what seemingly doesn't really feel like my fault, I know once I'm back stable with a clinic, it's far easier to transfer.
In regards to Cardiff Cannabis Clinic, I know I said I don't mind parting with cash but it's the £250 inital consult that's got me hung up, I could deal with the monthly fees just fine. Hopefully I find someone soon as I do miss the consistancy of some strains, it's just finding a clinic/dr to listen to why the last 6 months has gone pair shaped after having my medical cannabis was seized by police and then unsafely ripped of my meds due to a misunderstanding from my clinic who had no empathy and interest in sorting the situation.

The £250 is a lot but unquestionably worth it in my experience. Everyones circumstances are different but i did the maths and found It was actually far cheaper in the long run whilst only being marginly more expensive on the short run.
It's the price you pay to not be funnelled into a pharmacy unfortunately. You wouldn't regret if you moved, like I say you literally won't find one unhappy patient in their thread on here. I can't say that for other clinics.
To give you some extra insight, Dr Dave and Cannabis Clinic Cardiff have told me if I ever go to the GP, to hospital, etc. whatever it is that I should call them immediately because they'll advocate for me. What that means is lets say I've got a stomach issue, the hospital might send me away saying its CHS as a lazy diagnosis. The clinic fight for proper testing to determine whats going on, etc. and they will do all the leg work.
I left Medicann, the final issue was a travel letter they refused to do for me. CCC not only did the travel letter for the meds I had with them, they also covered my meds from Medicann. They are unlike anything else I've ever experienced. Ultimately, I think they may be your best bet with getting back onto medical.

@Privatenameuk is probably the latest CCC recruit we have on MedBud at the moment. PNUK, do you have any words of encouragement to send @Stitch's way?

if they're not around, here's their post about their appointment experience -
My Initial Experience with Cannabis Clinic Cardiff (CCC)

I had my initial consultation with Dr Dave this afternoon, and I have to say it was one of the best consultations I’ve had during my three years as a medical cannabis patient. Worth every penny, and it took one hour.
The consultation itself never felt rushed. Dr Dave took the time to go through my medical history, discuss what had and hadn’t worked previously, and genuinely listened to my experience. I never felt judged or like I had to justify my treatment. It felt like a collaborative discussion rather than simply being told...
