Thank you mate, spoke with Chanelle over the phone today. She tried to make the point that the doctor was stressed because she’s been suspecting that lots of patients are selling products externally, also quite comically stated that at the time of call (morning AM) that ‘it was towards the end of the day’. I made her aware that no patient should be spoken to like that after explaining the doctors call, she agreed and apologised on behalf of Edith in the end. I’m not the type to go further, I’d much rather vent and moan about it in a public forum.I’m really sorry to hear you had such a negative experience. If those comments were made as you’ve described, I can understand why you’d come away feeling disappointed, especially when you’re seeking treatment to support your mental health.
If you feel the consultation fell below the standard you expected, it’s worth raising a formal complaint with Auravia. You can email [email protected] and set out:
If, after Auravia has investigated your complaint, you remain dissatisfied with their response, you can consider escalating your concerns to the appropriate external body, depending on the nature of the complaint (for example, the CQC for concerns about regulated healthcare services, or the General Medical Council if your concerns relate to a doctor’s professional conduct).
- What happened during the consultation.
- The specific comments or behaviour that concerned you.
- How the interaction affected you.
- The outcome you’re seeking (for example, an apology, an explanation, or a review of the consultation).
Hopefully Auravia takes your feedback on board and uses it as an opportunity to improve the experience for future patients![]()
